PArtners
The MacAvoy Foundation collaborates with kindred organizations to advance our goals of reviving craftsmanship in the visual arts and freedom in education. Listed below are our current partners as well as helpful information for potential future partners.
The MacAvoy Foundation works with the Art Renewal Center to advance its mission of promoting contemporary realism and the return of skill-based training to the visual arts. The ARC’s initiatives include — but are not limited to — supporting approved ateliers; providing scholarships for students; and running the ARC International Salon, an international art competition for contemporary realist artists of all ages.
The Roger Scruton Legacy Foundation aims to establish the legacy of Sir Roger Scruton through supporting the conservation, care, and continuation of humane wisdom and culture from the Western tradition. In 2024, the MacAvoy Foundation’s $25,000 grant was allocated to support an event at the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia in Spring 2024 as well as the foundation of a new Federalist Society for the Arts.
The Intercollegiate Studies Institute educates American college students on the core foundational principles of Western civilization. With the MacAvoy Foundation’s support, ISI has been building its new ISI Media Studio. The MacAvoy Foundation’s support also contributes to ISI’s digital marketing content and online educational programming, the latter of which comprises video lectures and debates about key ideas.
The MacAvoy Foundation’s support has helped expand Hillsdale College’s K-12 Home Schooling program, making resources and curriculum more widely available. The program provides videos, podcasts, and resources to help parents educate their children with time-honored classical curriculum at home.
